Consulate Health Care

This class action lawsuit is in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. The lawsuit alleges that when Consulate Health care sold a nursing home it operated called “The Manor at Susquehanna Village” it erased employees' accumulated leave time in violation of Pennsylvania law. The company denies that it violated the law.

Today we filed a class action lawsuit against Consulate Health Care asserting legal claims: breach of contract; Pennsylvania Wage Payment and Collection Law (“PWPCL”), 43 P.S. §§ 260.1, et seq.; promissory estoppel; and unjust enrichment. A copy of the complaint is available below. It is expected that the company will deny that it violated the law.
