Haute Restaurant & Lounge

This lawsuit seeks to recover unpaid wages for restaurant servers and bartenders who have worked at the Haute Restaurant & Lounge located in Philadelphia, PA. The servers and bartenders allege that Haute violated the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act by failing to pay its servers and bartenders a minimum wage and failing to inform them that a portion of their tips were being used to satisfy Haute's minimum wage obligations.

It is anticipated that Haute will deny violating any laws.

The Judge has not decided who will win the lawsuit.

Today we filed a class and collective action Complaint in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Haute Restaurant & Lounge Inc. on behalf of servers and bartenders at the Haute Restaurant & Lounge located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The lawsuit alleges that Haute violated the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act by failing to pay its servers and bartenders a minimum wage and failing to inform them that a portion of their tips were being used to satisfy Haute's minimum wage obligations. The lawsuit seeks to proceed as a collective action under federal law and a class action under Pennsylvania law on behalf of all individuals who, during any time within the past three years, have been employed as servers or bartenders at Haute.
