Winebrake & Santillo, working with co-counsel from the Kansas City law firm of Donelon PC, recently obtained class certification for a class of Assistant Branch Managers (ABMs) employed at Citizens Bank locations throughout New York state. The lawsuit, entitled Cuevas v. Citizens Financial Group, Inc., 10-cv-5582-FB (E.D.N.Y.), is pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. The ABMs allege that they were misclassified as exempt from New York overtime rights laws.
