The collective action alleged that the company violated federal wage law by failing to pay traveling merchandisers overtime wages for hours worked over 40 per week. Instead, the company paid the traveling merchandisers on a day-rate basis without payment of overtime pay. The lawsuit sought to recover unpaid overtime wages for hours worked over 40 during any week within the past three years under federal wage and overtime law.
