The Complaint alleges that Premier Care & Staffing violated the Pennsylvania wage law by failing to pay health workers adequate overtime premium compensation for hours worked over 40 per week. Today a case management conference was held with the Court. At the conclusion of the conference, a scheduling order was issued setting deadlines for the class certification motion. A copy of this order is below.

OCT 3, 2019
Today, the federal Judge overseeing the lawsuit issued an order conditionally certifying a collective in this case under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Notice of this lawsuit will now be sent to potentially covered caregivers in the coming weeks.
DEC 16, 2019
The deadline for caregivers to join the lawsuit has now passed. We are very pleased that a total of 50 individuals have joined the lawsuit. We look forward to representing these individuals in the months ahead.
FEB 26, 2020
Today, the federal Judge overseeing the lawsuit issued an order approving the settlement on behalf of the FLSA collective. A copy of the Court's order is available below.
